So at the end of last year i made Sue (a lady from work) a cd of all the music i keep talking to her about, including (of course) Brother by Matt Corby! I saw her for the first time since then yesterday, and she just kept going on about how much she loved Brother, that she got goosebumps, and couldn’t believe how talented he is! Of course i just stood there grinning like an idiot because i was having on of my proud moments (which are becoming more frequent as of late) and Theresa finally gives in - after ages on me ranting about him - and says she just going to listen to him and see what all the fuss is about! So then i get home and of course post Brother on her wall so she definitely listens, and i get to work today and she said it wasn’t at all what she expected, and that she really liked it (yayyyyy!!). So then i started going on about the SMAC awards and Like A Version and she goes “you’re really proud, aren’t you?” and i said “You have no idea” because really, it’s getting ridiculous how proud i am of him (and my reactions are getting even more stupid) but he really deserves every little bit of success he’s getting at the moment! I must say though, after being a fan since idol i almost don’t want for him to be really popular so i can keep him all to myself haha but that’s just a small(ish) selfish part of me…
